Netflix has released the first photos of “Modern Family” star Sofia Vergara as Griselda Blanco in the highly anticipated limited series, “Griselda,” slated to arrive in 2024.
About The Series
The series is inspired by the life of the savvy and ambitious Colombian businesswoman Griselda Blanco, a devoted mother who created one of the most profitable cartels in history.
Blanco’s lethal blend of unsuspected savagery and charm helped her expertly navigate between business and family, leading her to become widely known as “the Godmother.”
Executive producers Sofia Vergara and Louis Balaguer developed this project for eight years at Latin World Entertainment before bringing it to Netflix.
Andrés Baiz will direct all six episodes of the limited series.

“Griselda” is set to premiere on Netflix on January 25, 2024.
