GloRilla Charged After Burglary At Her Atlanta Home Uncovers Drugs

Let her cook! GloRilla just found herself on the wrong side of the headlines again—this time after a burglary at her Atlanta-area home turned into a full-blown investigation that landed her in jail.

What Happened At GloRilla’s House?

According to the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called to a home owned by the rapper, whose real name is Gloria Hallelujah Woods, around 1:30 a.m. Saturday morning.

The call came in after three suspects allegedly broke into her residence while she wasn’t there.

Someone inside the house fired at the intruders, who took off running.

Authorities don’t believe anyone was injured during the incident, but the investigation didn’t stop there.

Why GloRilla Was Charged

While investigating the break-in, deputies say they smelled marijuana—and it wasn’t just a whiff.

A “significant amount” of weed was reportedly found in the master bedroom closet, along with a controlled substance.

As a result, GloRilla was hit with two charges: possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance.

She turned herself in to the Forsyth County Jail on Tuesday and was released not long after on a $22,260 bond.

Law Enforcement’s Statement

In a statement to Channel 2 Action News, Sheriff Ron Freeman acknowledged the complexity of the case:

The homeowner is a victim of a serious crime, and we are committed to bringing the suspects to justice.

At the same time, we must continue to uphold and enforce the law in all aspects of this case.

Translation? Two things can be true: GloRilla was the victim of a burglary, but she also allegedly had a stash that brought its own legal trouble.

This Isn’t Her First Brush With Georgia Law

If you’re thinking this sounds familiar, you’re not wrong.

In 2023, GloRilla made headlines when Channel 2 obtained body cam footage of her DUI arrest in Gwinnett County.

That incident didn’t seem to slow her down musically, but it certainly added to her growing rap sheet—pun intended.
