Facebook has announced they are rolling out two new “Care” reaction emojis amid the Coronavirus crisis as a way for its 2.5 billion users to express compassion and empathy.

In your main news feed, Facebook will be adding a yellow face emoji that is embracing a heart.

Messenger will add a purple pulsating heart for you to add to your private messages.

A spokesperson for the top social media platform said in a statement, “We hope these reactions give people additional ways to show their support during the COVID-19 crisis.”

Reaction emojis were first rolled out on Facebook back in 2015. Your new “Care” reaction emojis should arrive next week.
