NPR Music has finally delivered a treat for music enthusiasts: Kehlani’s much-anticipated Tiny Desk Concert.

This intimate performance showcases Kehlani’s undeniable talent and charisma, leaving fans eagerly awaiting every note.

“It’s been a long time coming. I definitely know I’m overdue for doing this [Tiny Desk],” Kehlani admits during their set, setting the tone for a heartfelt and captivating performance.

The journey begins with “Nights Like This,” a poignant track from their 2019 mixtape While We Wait.

Kehlani then seamlessly transitions into “Distraction,” a standout from their debut album SweetSexySavage, followed by a smooth move into “The Way,” a beloved track from the 2015 project You Should Be Here.

As the sultry notes of “Can I” fill the air, Kehlani takes a moment to pause.

“I want to take a second to say: Free Palestine. Free Congo. Free Sudan. Free Yemen. Free Hawaii. Free Guam,” they passionately declare. “It’s deeper than this. I need everybody that’s here right now, everybody that’s watching, to step up, to use their voices.”

The set then kicks back into gear with “After Hours,” a groovy, summertime anthem from their latest album CRASH.

With each song, Kehlani captivates the audience, displaying a raw and real talent that promises a bright future in music.
