It’s with great concern that I report comedian and “Wild ‘N Out” cast member Rip Micheals has been hospitalized with a serious heart condition.
The 41-year-old comedian was scheduled to perform during a live taping at the Apollo Theater on Sunday, November 12.
But, he was forced to cancel due to a serious medical emergency.
Rip Micheals took to social media and shared a heartbreaking video of himself in the hospital bed, struggling to breathe, as he promised those who bought tickets to support his show that he would make it up to them.
According to the caption on the post, Rip suffered a heart attack and now his heart is only functioning at 17 percent.
Rip is currently in the intensive care unit of a New York hospital and he thanked the “good people in the heart failure team.”
Nick Cannon commented on Rip Micheal’s post with beautiful words of support and encouragement.
