Do you believe in life after love? Cher has reportedly ended her May-December romance with Alexander Edwards.
The 76-year-old icon sent the internet into a tizzy when she popped out with Amber Rose’s 36-year-old baby daddy back in November 2022.
It wasn’t long before Cher was in the streets of Twitter defending her romance and getting spicy with folks who tried to warn her about Alexander Edwards.
The Mamma Mia! star tweeted, “I DON’T GIVE A F**K WHAT ANYONE THINKS.”
By Christmas, Alexander gave Cher what was assumed to be an engagement ring.
During an appearance on the “Kelly Clarkson Show,” Cher admitted she understood the speculation around her relationship.
“On paper, it’s kind of ridiculous, but in real life, we get along great,” she said.
Now, that Cher and Alexander Edwards have reportedly called it quits they are now saying the whole “engagement” thing was simply a joke.
Either way, I’m glad Cher made it out of this romance unscathed because Amber Rose wasn’t as fortunate.
After Amber’s three-year relationship with Alexander, she is now saying she wants to be single for the rest of her life.
“I wanna be single for the rest of my life. I don’t want to share my house or my life with anyone. I don’t want anyone around my kids. I don’t want to have sex. It’s so gross. I don’t want it.”
Amber and AE were madly in love and welcomed a baby boy, Slash Electric Alexander, in October 2019.
But, their relationship went up in smoke after Amber publicly accused AE of cheating on her with at least 12 different women.
He attempted to apologize…but when that didn’t work – he moved on to greener pastures.
