Carl Crawford is trending after Megan Thee Stallion dragged him through the streets of Twitter over his countersuit against her.
The former MLB player has filed a countersuit against the Grammy Award-winning rapper claiming she still owes his label, 1501 Certified Entertainment, one more album, and a lot of money.
Megan sued 1501 claiming her last album, Something For Thee Hotties, fulfilled her contract.
Carl’s new countersuit claims SFTH was not an album, he claims it was a compilation of 21 old and previously released material.
In the suit, 1501 says Megan is fully aware that an album must include at least 12 “new master recordings of studio performances” that have not been previously released.
Lastly, the label must approve of all of the tracks on the album.
If the court sides with 1501, Megan Thee Stallion will still owe Carl and his label two more albums.
1501 also wants full accounting reports on all of Megan’s “collaborations, sponsorships,
endorsements, and side engagements” to determine how much of her earnings are owed to the label.
Megan took to Twitter expeditiously to get a few things off of her chest in regards to Carl Crawford and his 1501 label.
She tweeted:
First the man over my label said I don’t make him any money … now he counter suing trying to keep me on his label because he wants to make more money lol if I ain’t making you no money why not just drop me?
