Meet Charlease Hatchett

Charlease Hatchett is a cancer warrior, a faith-led mentor, and a no-nonsense woman with a soft heart.

Rather than succumbing to fear, she chose a remarkable healing journey, trusting God’s protection through chemotherapy and standing as a living witness to grace.

Originally from Chesapeake, Virginia, Charlease’s path has taken her to New Jersey, Louisiana, England, and now Texas, where she and her husband, J. Harold Hatchett III, have made their home.

A Life Of Service And Impact

Charlease serves as CEO of God Is Bigger Than Ministries and is the Founder and Managing Partner of the Connected Through Cancer Foundation, a nonprofit devoted to walking alongside individuals and families impacted by cancer.

Her holistic approach focuses on the whole person, mind, body, and spirit, with faith-based resources, health products, and tools designed to support long-term wellness and healing.

From “Somebody’s Son” To Somebody You Can Trust

You may recognize Charlease from OWN’s “Somebody’s Son,” where she appeared alongside her son.

On the mic, that same authenticity shines. She brings the kind of clarity that only comes from lived experience.

She is gentle when you need reassurance and firm when you need a nudge.

In other words, the mentor you want in your earbuds.
