Beyoncé pulled up to the streets of Instagram on Thursday and unveiled the album artwork for her highly anticipated new album, Renaissance.
The album artwork features Bey showing off her brickhouse bawdy as she’s perched upon a glowing stallion.
In a rare occurrence, Beyoncé attached a caption to the post as she shared her inspiration and the purpose of her forthcoming album.
She wrote:
Creating this album allowed me a place to dream and to find escape during a scary time for the world.
It allowed me to feel free and adventurous in a time when little else was moving.
My intention was to create a safe place, a place without judgment.
A place to be free of perfectionism and overthinking.
A place to scream, release, feel freedom.
It was a beautiful journey of exploration.
I hope you find joy in this music.
I hope it inspires you to release the wiggle. Ha! And to feel as unique, strong, and sexy as you are.

Beyoncé’s first single from the album, “Break My Soul,” was released on June 20.
“Break My Soul” has sparked quite a bit of dialogue about dance music and it’s sent Azealia Banks over the edge.
We previously reported about Azealia’s online tirade against Beyoncé where Azealia accused the “Run The World” singer of theft and trying to erase her contributions to dance music.
Renaissance is slated to arrive on July 29.
