Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office Captain Jay Baker is under investigation for promoting anti-Asian t-shirts that read, “COVID-19 IMPORTED VIRUS FROM CHY-NA.”
Baker was already receiving criticism from the way he nonchalantly reported that the Atlanta spa shootings suspect Robert Aaron Long had a “bad day” after he murdered six Asian spa workers.
At the time, his lack of empathy for the victims and their families was mystifying, but thanks to social media he has been exposed.
Baker has been taken off of the Atlanta spa shootings case.
