Ashanti recently sat down with “Entertainment Tonight” to give them the scoop on her pregnancy, her engagement to Nelly, and their wedding plans.
The Grammy Award-winning singer officially announced her pregnancy and engagement to the “Country Grammar” rapper in April.
Ashanti described Nelly’s proposal as “such a beautiful and intimate moment.”
The singer and actress said they were at home wearing their comfy clothes in bed when he popped the question.
“I cried, I gave him the biggest hug and kiss ever, I FaceTimed everyone I know,” Ashanti gushed.
When it comes to wedding plans, the “Baby” singer said she and Nelly are definitely ready to walk down the aisle, but she doesn’t want to get married while pregnant.
