Today, Apple TV+ released the much-anticipated trailer for “Land of Women,” a six-episode dramedy starring and executive produced by the acclaimed actress Eva Longoria.
The series, which premieres globally on June 26 with two episodes, will follow with new episodes every Wednesday through July 24.
Based on the bestselling novel âLa tierra de las mujeresâ by award-winning author Sandra Barneda, “Land of Women” promises a captivating blend of drama and comedy.
Longoria stars as Gala, a sophisticated New Yorker whose life is turned upside down when her husbandâs unpaid debts attract dangerous criminals.
Forced to flee, Gala escapes to her motherâs hometown in northern Spain with her aging mother Julia, played by the legendary Carmen Maura, and teenage daughter Kate, portrayed by newcomer Victoria BazĂșa.
As they attempt to start anew, the trio must navigate the gossip-filled town, which soon unravels their deepest family secrets.

Eva Longoria, best known for her role in “Desperate Housewives,” brings her star power and executive production skills to the project.

The series is produced by BambĂș Producciones, with executive producers including showrunner RamĂłn Campos, Gema R. Neira, Carlos Sedes, Iris Award winner Teresa FernĂĄndez-ValdĂ©s, Ben Spector, Sandra Condito, and Longoria herself through her production company UnbeliEVAble Entertainment.
