Angela Johnson, the mother of Todd and Julie Chrisley’s granddaughter, is seeking full custody of her daughter now that the Chrisleys are headed to prison.
Angela Johnson is the birth mother of 10-year-old Chloe, whom Todd Chrisley has full custody of.
The Chrisley’s son Kyle lost custody in 2016 due to his drug addiction.
During that time, Angela was sharing custody with Todd and Julie until she got arrested for filing a false application for Medicaid assistance.
After her arrest, Todd attained full custody of Chloe, but since he has been sentenced to 12 years in prison for bank fraud and tax evasion, his daughter Savannah Chrisley has vowed to take custody of Chloe, and Angela is totally against it.
According to Angela, she was falsely accused of committing Medicaid fraud and was intentionally cut out of Chloe’s life by the Chrisleys.
She feels that a daughter should be with her mother, and she doesn’t understand why she was ousted, to begin with.
Angela says she is currently in the process of getting legal papers filed to get Chloe back home, but since the Chrisleys lived in two to three different states, it’s been an uphill battle.
The Chrisleys have lived in Atlanta and Tennessee, and Angela lives in South Carolina, which has caused a lot of jurisdictional turmoil over the years in her pursuit of trying to get her daughter back.
We wish Angela Johnson the best with regaining custody of Chloe.
