#AmyCooper is trending on social media after a video of her calling the police and blatantly lying on a black man has gone viral.
Cooper was in Ramble in Central Park walking her dog unleashed. When a gentleman asked her to leash her dog, she feverishly called the police to report “there’s an African American man threatening her life.”
While Amy Cooper was filing the false report and offering her Emmy-nominated performance of a “Karen in distress” – she was choking the Kibbles N’ Bits out of her poor rescue dog, Henry.
Watch the ridiculous video below:
When the video was initially posted the woman was dubbed #CentralParkKaren.
A guy who used to walk Amy’s dog for her is the one who took to Twitter to confirm her identity.
Once Amy was identified, it didn’t take long before the social media sleuths found her place of employment, Franklin Templeton.
Moments ago, Franklin Templeton finally acknowledged the public outcry about their certified racist employee writing:
We take these matters very seriously, and we do not condone racism of any kind. While we are in the process of investigating the situation, the employee involved has been placed on administrative leave.
Peep their original tweet below:
An investigation, eh? This racist behavior is pretty cut and dry if you ask me!
Ironically, their website has been taken offline too! ?
Not only that, Amy Cooper has returned Henry to the Abandoned Angels Cocker Spaniel Rescue, Inc., according to a statement on the Facebook page.
It’s good to new Henry is away from his racist adopted mama.
But, let’s shift the focus to Christian Cooper, the man who could have lost his life today because of a lying racist woman crying faux tears and weaponizing the trigger happy police force against another black king.
Christian’s sister, who originally shared the video via Twitter, expresses her gratitude for the outpouring of concern and support.
Job well done, Twitter.
It’s time we hold all violators accountable for their despicable actions!
Amy Cooper is currently scrubbing her digital footprint.
