Aaron Rodgers is shutting down reports of him suffering from “COVID toe.”
The Pinnochio of the Green Bay Packers went as far as putting his bare foot in front of cameras to disprove the reports and rapidly spreading rumor.
The irony is Aaron played a part in starting the rumor when he appeared on “The Pat McAfee” show and joked about possibly having COVID toe as a side effect of having COVID-19.
The Wall Street Journal caught the touchdown pass and reported it as fact.
What is COVID toe?
Covid Toe is a casual name for something medically known as pernio or chilblains, which is a condition that causes symptoms as discoloration and lesions.
It can be extremely painful and turn the toes purple.
Aaron Rodgers actually has a fractured pinky toe, an injury he sustained during workouts at home while preparing to return to the Packers after his quarantine.
When asked about COVID toe, Aaron responded:
I’m glad you asked just so I could show you the lesions of my foot here, so if I have enough room on this camera, let me see if I can.
Oh, oh there’s no lesions whatsoever. Oh, what a surprise. No, that’s actually called disinformation when you perpetuate false information about an individual. I have a fractured toe.
Aaron said he expected an apology from the Wall Street Journal for their erroneous reporting and added that he was amused by the article.
I did get a kick out of reading that article. That was very, very interesting, but no I had never heard of COVID toe before. Pat made a joke about it on the show, and I mentioned yesterday that it’s worse than a turf toe and it must be a bone issue.

There you go folks!
Nothing more to see here…if you believe him.
