Charlie Booker’s wildly popular, dark, and satirical anthology series which reinvents itself with each new episode is slated to premiere on the streamer on June 15.

According to the streamer this season of “Black Mirror” will offer five new films, five new worlds, five new realities, five new nightmares, five new revelations, five new hallucinations, five new rabbit holes, and five new mindf**ks! 

The films included in Season 6 are “Joan Is Awful,” “Loch Henry,” “Beyond The Sea,” “Mazey Day,” and “Demon 79.”

Directed by Tim Story (Ride Along, Think Like A Man, Barbershop) and screenplay and screen story by Tracy Oliver (Girls Trip, Harlem) & Dewayne Perkins (The Amber Ruffin Show, Brooklyn Nine-Nine), The Blackening skewers genre tropes and poses the sardonic question: if the entire cast of a horror movie is Black, who dies first?

I’m A Virgo” is a mythical odyssey that questions the purpose of the mythical odyssey.

Hijack | Apple TV+ | June 28

Told in real time, “Hijack” is a tense thriller that follows the journey of a hijacked plane as it makes its way to London over a seven-hour flight, and authorities on the ground scramble for answers. Elba will star as Sam Nelson, an accomplished negotiator in the business world who needs to step up and use all his guile to try and save the lives of the passengers — but, his high-risk strategy could be his undoing. Panjabi will play the role of Zahra Gahfoor, a counterterrorism officer who is on the ground when the plane is hijacked and becomes part of the investigation.

Jack Ryan | Prime Video | June 30

Jack Ryan Final Season

Season 4 finds the titular character on his most dangerous mission yet: facing an enemy both foreign and domestic.

As the new CIA Acting Deputy Director, Jack Ryan is tasked with unearthing internal corruption, and in doing so, uncovers a series of suspicious black ops that could expose the vulnerability of the country.

As Jack and the team investigate how deep the corruption runs, he discovers a far-worse reality—the convergence of a drug cartel with a terrorist organization—ultimately revealing a conspiracy much closer to home and testing our hero’s belief in the system he has always fought to protect.
