Episode 9 of the Emmy Award-winning series, “Atlanta,” aired on Thursday (May 12) and it has social media buzzing for a number of reasons.

The black and white episode titled, “Rich Wigga, Poor Wigga,” guest-starred the late Kevin Samuels and literally aired a week to the day of this untimely passing on May 5.

“Rich Wigga, Poor Wigga” followed the story of Aaron, played by Tyriq Withers, a White-passing high school senior who receives a rude awakening when he wasn’t Black enough to receive a full scholarship to the school of his dreams.

If Tyriq looks familiar it’s because he also starred in “The Game” as Connor Tibbs.
