Get ready to head back to the wild streets of Zootopia! Walt Disney Animation Studios just dropped the brand-new trailer and poster for Zootopia 2, and let me tell you—it’s giving action, laughs, emotional growth, and one very suspicious snake.
Premiering in theaters on November 26, the highly anticipated sequel reunites audiences with rookie cop Judy Hopps (voiced by Ginnifer Goodwin) and her sly fox partner Nick Wilde (voiced by Jason Bateman).
But this time around, their trusted partnership gets tested in a whole new way.
🧠 Therapy, Trust Falls, And A Whole New Case
After cracking one of the biggest cases in Zootopia’s history, Judy and Nick find themselves… in couples counseling? Yup.
When Chief Bogo (voiced by Idris Elba) sends them to the “Partners in Crisis” counseling program, the duo is forced to do some emotional heavy lifting.
But there’s no time to process feelings when a venomous snake slithers into town, kicking off a brand-new mystery that puts their partnership—and possibly their lives—on the line.

Zootopia 2 introduces a few exciting new characters guaranteed to stir things up:
- Gary De’Snake (voiced by Ke Huy Quan): a smooth-talking but mysterious reptile
- Nibbles (voiced by Fortune Feimster): a quirky critter sure to steal scenes
- Dr. Fuzzby (voiced by Quinta Brunson): a quokka therapist with all the soft wisdom
Of course, fan-favorites are making their return too—including Gazelle (Shakira), Clawhauser (Nate Torrence), Yax (Tommy Chong), Bellwether (Jenny Slate), and Mr. Big (Maurice LaMarche).

Directed by Jared Bush and Byron Howard, and produced by Yvett Merino, Zootopia 2 is Walt Disney Animation Studios’ 64th animated feature film.
Bush, who also serves as the studio’s chief creative officer, called it “a joy” to reunite with the original cast and expand the world even further.
With a mix of comedy, heart, and edge-of-your-seat mystery, Zootopia 2 is shaping up to be the perfect holiday movie treat.
