Ladies and gents, grab your gavels and don your finest robes because the courtroom drama, “Your Honor,” is making a grand entrance on Netflix!
Bryan Cranston shared the exciting news via Twitter earlier this week!
The Emmy-winning actor, who continues to be the pinnacle of both charm and gravitas, announced that Seasons 1 and 2 of his nail-biting Showtime drama will start streaming on Netflix beginning May 31.
“If you haven’t seen this limited series, please do catch it. I’m very proud of it,” Bryan wrote. “We have a terrific cast, and you’ll be on the edge of your sofa watching this story unfold.”
And why wouldn’t you be? This show has everything: moral dilemmas, high-stakes drama, and Bryan Cranston in a role that’s arguably his best since “Breaking Bad.”
I’m willing to stand on business and testify under oath on that!
Originally intended as a one-and-done, “Your Honor” was conceived by the brilliant Peter Moffat.
Bryant steps into the formidable shoes of Michael Desiato, a well-respected New Orleans judge whose world spirals into chaos when he bends the law to cover up his son Adam’s (played by Hunter Doohan) hit-and-run accident involving a member of a local crime family.
Chile….
The first season, which was based on the Israeli series, “Kvodo,” created by Ron Ninio and Shlomo Mashiach, shattered Showtime records, becoming the most-watched debut season ever with a whopping 6.6 million weekly viewers.
With such blockbuster success, it’s no surprise that the show was renewed for a second season.
In Season 2, the tension ratchets up even higher as Assistant U.S. Attorney Olivia Delmont, portrayed by the ever-talented Rosie Perez, drags Michael out of prison.
Her mission? To enlist his help in bringing down the crime family that got him into this mess in the first place.
A plot twist worthy of a standing ovation!
Produced by CBS Studios in association with KingSize Productions, “Your Honor” boasts an executive-producing dream team that includes Moffat, the dynamic duo Robert and Michelle King, and Liz Glotzer.
With such powerhouse talent both in front of and behind the camera, it’s no wonder this show has captivated audiences and critics alike.
So, if you’re ready for a series that’s packed with more twists than a pretzel factory and performances that’ll leave you pleading for more, “Your Honor” on Netflix is your next binge.
