You, Me & Tuscany‘ Trailer Turns A Little Lie Into A Whole Italian Adventure

Universal Pictures has officially dropped the first full look at You, Me & Tuscany, and Frens, this one is giving sun, spice, and a little bit of scandal.

From the very first frames, it’s clear this film wants to whisk us away into a world where one lie gets entirely out of hand, and somehow love still finds a way to sprinkle itself on top.

In true You, Me & Tuscany fashion, the trailer sets the mood perfectly.

Halle Bailey stars as Anna, a twenty-something trying to find herself after abandoning her dream of becoming a chef.

And because life be lifing, Anna manages to lose her house-sitting job and her housing in one fell swoop.

A chance meeting with Matteo, a handsome Italian whose empty Tuscan villa practically screams “bad decisions happen here,” sends her spiraling into an Italian getaway she didn’t plan and definitely can’t afford.

Why ‘You, Me & Tuscany‘ Already Feels Like A Must-Watch

The story heats up quickly, especially when Anna’s “just one night” plan at Matteo’s villa goes completely left.

Matteo’s mother Gabriella pops up unexpectedly and mistakes Anna for Matteo’s fiancée.

Instead of correcting her, Anna leans into the lie like it’s a warm bowl of pasta she can’t resist.

That tiny fib becomes a major mess when Matteo’s cousin Michael, played by the effortlessly charming Regé-Jean Page, walks into the villa.

The tension between Anna and Michael? Chef’s kiss.

Sparks fly, eyes lock, and you instantly know this villa is about to witness a whole lot more than scenic sunsets.

The film features a delightful international cast including Lorenzo de Moor as Matteo, Marco Calvani as a friendly taxi driver, and Nia Vardalos bringing her signature charm as Mrs. Dunn, Anna’s former client.

With director Kat Coiro steering the ship and Will Packer producing, You, Me & Tuscany is primed to be one of the season’s sweetest escapist rom-coms.
