Warner Bros. has officially dropped the trailer for Wuthering Heights, and listen… this one already feels like it’s about to have the girls, the guys, and the group chats in a frenzy.
This bold reimagining of Emily Brontë’s classic is directed by Oscar-winning filmmaker Emerald Fennell, and she brought some heavy hitters along for the ride.
Margot Robbie steps into the role of Cathy, while Jacob Elordi channels Heathcliff with that signature brooding intensity he was born to play.
Their forbidden love takes center stage in a story packed with passion, obsession, heartbreak, and a sprinkle of beautiful chaos… because what is Wuthering Heights without a little madness to keep things spicy?
A Dark New Take On Wuthering Heights
Fennell’s vision for Wuthering Heights is being praised as bold, imaginative, and downright hypnotic.
Alongside Robbie and Elordi, the cast includes Hong Chau, Shazad Latif, Alison Oliver, Martin Clunes, and Ewan Mitchell.
When you see a lineup like that, you already know the performances are about to be top-tier.
Fennell not only directs but also penned the screenplay, teaming up once again with frequent collaborators like cinematographer Linus Sandgren, production designer Suzie Davies, editor Victoria Boydell, casting director Kharmel Cochrane, and composer Anthony Willis.
And if that wasn’t enough star power, Oscar-winning costume designer Jacqueline Durran crafted the film’s wardrobe, and Charli XCX is delivering original music to set the mood.
Wuthering Heights hits theaters nationwide on February 13, 2026, just in time for Valentine’s Day date nights that pair romance with a little emotional damage.
