🎬 The Magic Returns This Fall
Wicked fans, the moment we’ve been waiting for is finally here! Universal Pictures has dropped the official trailer for Wicked: For Good, and it’s giving drama, power, and glittering high notes.
Starring Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba and Ariana Grande as Glinda, the film picks up in the magical land of Oz as these two iconic witches prepare to rewrite history.
✨ What’s “Wicked: For Good” All About?
In this new chapter, Elphaba—now labeled The Wicked Witch of the West—has gone into hiding in the forest, continuing her rebellion against The Wizard’s corrupt regime and fighting to protect Oz’s oppressed Animal population.
Meanwhile, Glinda, crowned as the embodiment of Goodness, basks in the spotlight of Emerald City life.
But under all that pink and sparkle, Glinda’s struggling—haunted by her past with Elphaba and torn between duty and truth.
And with Madame Morrible (played by the legendary Michelle Yeoh) pulling Glinda’s strings, things get even more complicated.
As Glinda prepares for a fairy tale wedding to Prince Fiyero (played by Jonathan Bailey), a girl from Kansas crashes into their world—literally.
What follows is a magical storm of betrayal, rebellion, and redemption.
