D’Adrien Anderson, the man who licked a tub of ice cream in Walmart in a viral video, will spend 30 days in jail trying not to get licked.
Last August, a video of D’Adrien opening the container, licking the ice cream, and putting it back in the freezer inside of a Port Arthur, Texas Walmart, sent social media into a frenzy!
Walmart claims surveillance video showed D’Adrien actually purchased the ice cream after licking it. He even produced a receipt to prove he purchased it.
D’Adrien Anderson was charged with criminal mischief. His father said he did it for “Facebook likes.”
Let me tell you who didn’t like it – Blue Bell Creameries who ended up spending $1,565 to replace all of the ice cream in the display case!
In addition to his 30 days in jail, Mr. Anderson will have to complete 100 hours of community service, he will have to pay a $1,000 fine and restitution to Blue Bell.
D’Adrien’s 30-day jail sentence will begin immediately!
