A viral video of ex-rugby star Dennis Ombachi tossing his son in a pool has set the street of social media ablaze!
Dennis appears to be promoting water safety and shared that his son had just graduated after four weeks of classes.
He wrote:
4 weeks since we started water safety classes and my son graduated today, officially WATER SAFE!
Last class he get to go in with 4 layers of clothing including two diapers, more than doubling his weight in water.
Proud father.
While it is admirable for a father to be excited about his son learning swimming skills so quickly, the visual of the father tossing his son in the pool is disturbing.
A female voice can be heard saying, “You know it’s painful to land like this?” after the boy’s body smacks the water when he lands.
The baby boy, visibly scared and crying, manages to turn himself around and float on his back in the water.
Dennis Ombachi applauds and tells him, “Well done, baby,” from outside the pool.

Water safety is extremely important, especially with small children.
Do you think Dennis did a bit much in the video?
