Victoria Monét and John Gaines released a joint statement on Monday (September 23) announcing the end of their relationship.
Online speculation about their relationship status had been growing, and of course, when there’s no story… people create one.
According to their statement, Victoria and John ended their relationship 10 months ago and are keeping their focus on what’s most important—their 2-year-old daughter, Hazel.
“There was no infidelity, toxic behavior, or drama. We both just have some fundamental growing to do that would be best done apart so we can remain the best versions of ourselves for our daughter. It simply didn’t work out, and that’s okay.”
