V-103 Atlanta Announces The Passing Of Comedian & Radio Personality Wanda Smith

The Atlanta entertainment world is mourning the loss of Wanda Smith, the beloved comedian and longtime radio personality for V-103.

Her passing was announced on Saturday night, leaving both Atlantans and the industry in shock.

V-103’s SVP and Market Manager, Rick Caffey, shared an emotional statement, saying, “Our hearts are weighing heavier today as we grieve the loss of our beloved Wanda Smith, someone who always made us smile and who was a big part of V-103 for years. We extend our deepest prayers and condolences to her family.”

Since joining V-103 in 1997, Wanda Smith has been a beacon of joy for the Atlanta community.

Her infectious humor was only part of her legacy—she was also deeply involved in efforts to uplift and support those in need behind the scenes.
