Presales for Kendrick Lamar and SZA’s highly anticipated Grand National Tour began today and if you entered the Hunger Games to secure your tickets you know exactly why Ticketmaster is trending on Twitter.

After securing three tickets for the Atlanta show in April, I was taken aback during checkout when I saw the additional $125 in service fees tacked on to my total.

According to my Twitter timeline I wasn’t the only one flabbergasted by the Ticketmaster tomfoolery.

The company attempted to defense itself against accusation that they allow bots to purchase all of the good and affordable seats writing:

This is false. We never prioritize brokers over fans. In fact, we have invested more than the rest of the industry combined in developing technology to block bad actors from stealing tickets from fans.

See the original tweet below.

But, I didn’t see any tweets addressing those excessive service fees.

I previously reported the Justice Department dropped a bombshell antitrust lawsuit on Ticketmaster and its parent company, Live Nation Entertainment, on Thursday (May 23).

Accusing them of running an illegal monopoly over live events in America, the DOJ, along with 30 state and district attorneys general, is looking to break up the dynamic duo they say is jacking up prices and squeezing out the little guys in the concert world.

I need the Department of Justice to prioritize and prosecute this case to the fullest extent of the law!

Truth is: I’m tired of Ticketmaster.
