🚨 Tory Lanez’s Legal Team Demands Justice
Tory Lanez’s legal team is calling on California Governor Gavin Newsom to pardon the rapper—or at least commute his sentence—after he was violently stabbed in prison and new testimony surfaced that could potentially shift blame in the 2020 shooting involving Megan Thee Stallion.
Lanez, whose real name is Daystar Peterson, is currently serving a 10-year sentence after being convicted of three firearm-related charges.
Megan, born Megan Pete, testified in court that Peterson shot her in the feet while shouting “Dance, b***h.”
He has consistently denied the allegations and is appealing the conviction.
💥 Bodyguard Allegedly Claims Kelsey Harris Fired The Gun
During a press conference hosted by the nonprofit Unite The People, Lanez’s team introduced a new claim from Bradley James, an alleged bodyguard for Megan’s former friend Kelsey Harris—who was in the vehicle the night of the shooting.
According to Walter Roberts, Unite The People’s lead consultant, James approached them months ago stating he overheard Kelsey confess to firing the gun while Tory Lanez attempted to deflect it.
This testimony reportedly aligns with earlier statements from trial witness Sean Kelly, who claimed he saw two women fighting before the shots were fired.

🩸 Lanez Stabbed 14 Times In Prison
Just days before the press conference, Tory Lanez was stabbed 14 times in a prison yard altercation at California Correctional Institution.
His wounds included injuries to his back, torso, head, and face, with both lungs collapsing.
He was airlifted to a hospital and is now recovering, according to his father, Sunstar Peterson.
Officials have identified his attacker as Santino Casio, a convicted murderer serving a life sentence.
Lanez’s legal team says his safety is at risk and that if he is not released, “he may never get out.”
⚖️ Megan Thee Stallion’s Attorney Responds
In response to the new claims, Megan Thee Stallion’s attorney, Alex Spiro, issued a full statement:
Tory Lanez was tried and convicted by a jury of his peers, and his case was properly adjudicated through the court system.
This is not a political matter — this is a case of a violent assault that was resolved in the court of law. Desperate claims from a desperate source do not change the facts.
📝 Petition For Tory Lanez Pardon Gaining Momentum
Unite The People is now urging California Governor Gavin Newsom and former President Donald Trump to intervene.
A Change.org petition calling for Tory Lanez’s pardon has already surpassed 82,000 signatures.

As Lanez continues to recover from the stabbing, his team says they plan to submit this new evidence and push forward with appeals.
