🎬 Tiffany Haddish Falls Asleep During ‘Sinners’ Movie Date
Tiffany Haddish never fails to entertain, even when she’s sharing personal anecdotes on late-night talk shows.
During her appearance on “Late Night With Seth Meyers,” the comedian hilariously confessed that she fell asleep in the theater while on a movie date to see the film Sinners.
And, of course, her story has all the comedic charm you’d expect from the actress.
In her signature funny style, Tiffany admitted that late-night movie dates aren’t exactly her thing, especially when they start at 9:00 PM.
She joked about how she’s likely to be asleep by 9:45, snoring and all.
“If it’s too late at night, just know that I’ll probably be asleep by 9:45, 10, and I snore. And that’s, that’s a problem,” she told Seth.
But it gets even funnier.
Tiffany revealed that, during her date to Sinners, she dozed off and missed a significant part of the film.
“So, I hate to say this, uh, I fell asleep at Sinners,” she admitted, laughing. “But I was tired. I’m successful.”
When she woke up, vampires were everywhere and had no idea what was going on.
She went on to explain that her date didn’t wake her up during the movie because he thought she looked so peaceful while snoring.
💔 The Date That Ended In A ‘Roster Cut’
Tiffany didn’t miss a beat when she explained how she ended things with him: “I had to cut him off the roster.”
After all, how could someone let you sleep through a whole movie—especially when there are vampires involved?!
Not to worry, though—Tiffany spun the block to see Sinners again!
She went back to the theater with her gay friends, who made sure she didn’t miss the entire film.
“I went back, I ended up going back to the movie with my gay homeboys and then I got to see the whole movie ’cause they woke me up,” Tiffany shared.
She even added a playful note about how she was enjoying the film with her friends, joking, “That’s like lavender marriage. If you’ll lavender.”
