Tiffany Evans is very mindful about the company she keeps—especially when it comes to other “mean-spirited” female singers.
The 32-year-old singer and actress took to social media to share why she doesn’t associate with certain women in the industry, and let’s just say…she’s trying to protect her peace and her freedom.
Tiffany tweeted:
“I don’t hang or want to hang with certain female singers anymore because a lot of them are truly mean spirited girls and think they’re above everyone. And I don’t wanna be in jail because of nobody.”
Whew! Apparently, something went down that made her speak out because she followed up with:
“The way I could’ve acted up but didn’t.”
See her original tweets below.

It’s unclear who Tiffany was referring to or what exactly happened, but her message still resonates.
But, a quick investigation showed Tiffany dropped off these tweets four hours after snapping this photo with Coco Jones – I doubt this is who she is referring to.
Frens, be intentional about the energy you allow around you—and ask yourself if the company you keep is even worth keeping.
Sometimes protecting your peace means protecting your freedom too.
