OWN’s For the Holidays tradition continues with another feel-good gem that’s all about sisterhood, forgiveness, and a little friendly competition! The Christmas Showdown premieres Saturday, December 6 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on OWN, starring Amber Stevens West, Corbin Reid, and Loretta Devine.
🎄 What The Christmas Showdown Is About
Former childhood besties April (Corbin Reid) and Chastity (Amber Stevens West) haven’t spoken in years.
Back in the day, they had big dreams of moving to New York together, but when April jetted off to Paris instead, their friendship fell apart faster than holiday lights with a missing bulb.
Now, fate (and a little Christmas magic) brings them back together when they both go after the same event design job for the Sugar Heights Christmas Eve Spectacular.
To land the gig, they’ll have to work under the watchful eye of Hen (Loretta Devine) and somehow find a way to put the past behind them.
Of course, what starts as a friendly rivalry turns into an all-out holiday showdown filled with laughter, redemption, and more sparkle than a Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center.
