Teyana Taylor has released the official music video for her single “Long Time.”

Written and produced by Teyana and Rico Love, the track is lifted from her highly anticipated visual album, Escape Room – The Album, slated to arrive this August.

The “Long Time” visual stars Oscar-nominated actor LaKeith Stanfield and Tey’s boo thang, Aaron Pierre… das Mufasaaaa!

The cinematic video is also narrated by Taraji P. Henson, who co-stars with Teyana in the forthcoming Tyler Perry film, Straw.
“Long Time” seemingly captures Teyana Taylor’s regret over resuscitating a relationship that had flatlined ages ago.
She sings:
I kept you inspired (Inspired)
I lent you my fire (Fire)
You let me get tired (Tired)
And the truth is, I didn't end when it was over (Over)
Baby, it's been over a long time
Didn't end when it was over (Didn't end when it was over)
Now the door is closed for closure
Then she hits us with the realest line: “Should’ve been walked out this b**ch a long time!”
