On the heels of KFC announcing their chickenless chicken, Taco Bell announces they will be offering crispy chicken wings for a limited time.
The Crispy Chicken Wings launched as a new menu item on Thursday, January 6 at 2 p.m. and will be available until the 12th.
Customers can scoop an order of five wings in-store or via the app for $5.99, but there is a four-per-customer order limit.
The “Today” show on NBC described the wings as “coated in Mexican queso seasoning and served with spicy ranch dipping sauce.”
The first reviews on Twitter have been pretty rough.
It didn’t take long before Wingstop entered the convo and advised Taco Bell to “leave this to the Wing experts, k.”
Do you plan to get you some Taco Bell wangs?
