The sexual abuse allegations against T.I. and Tiny Harris has resulted in the suspension of their hit VH1 reality TV series, “T.I. & Tiny: Friends & Family Hustle.”
An MTV Entertainment spokesperson released the following statement:
We are aware of the allegations, and while they are not connected to our show, we have reached out to T.I. and Tameka Harris, as well as local and state officials. Given the serious nature of the allegations, we have decided to suspend production in order to gather more information.
In addition to suspending production, plans to announce the season 4 premiere date slated for this spring has also been placed on pause.
Sources tell Deadline, the decision to halt the show was mutual between MTV, T.I., and Tiny.
The couple is facing a range of sexual abuse accusations, including trafficking, drugging and coercing women.
The Harrises have denied “in the strongest way possible the egregiously appalling allegations,” threatening possible legal action against the accuser.
One of the couple’s accuser is now being represented by Attorney Lisa Bloom.
