The FBI, the Department of Justice, and the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department announced the arrest of James “Tim” Norman for the commission of the murder-for-hire plot that resulted in the death of his 18-year-old nephew Andre Montgomery.
According to the DOJ, the Sweetie Pie’s owner took out a $450,000 life insurance policy on his nephew in 2014, with him as the sole beneficiary.
In March of 2016, Tim reached out to an exotic dancer by the name of Terica Ellis of Memphis, Tennessee.
She told Tim Norman she would be in St. Louis.
The day before Andre Montgomery was killed, Tim flew to St. Louis from Los Angeles. Once he touched down, he reached out to Terica via a burner phone.
Terica reached out to Tim using a burner phone to let him know Andre’s location.
Just after 8 p.m. on March 14, Andre Montgomery was shot and killed on the 3900 block of Natural Bridge Road in St. Louis.
When Terica Ellis called Tim, her phone pinged in the area of Andre’s murder. Terica traveled back to Memphis and deposited over $9,000 in various bank accounts.
On March 21, Norman called the life insurance company in an attempt to collect on the policy he had taken out on Andre.
Terica Ellis has also been charged in the murder-for-hire plot.
Both are being held in federal custody.
Tim’s ex-boo Jennifer Williams took to Instagram with a timely subliminal message about karma.
You may recall their romance went sour and resulted in Tim filing a restraining order against her.
