Angie Jakusz, who competed on “Survivor: Palau,” has died.
She was 40.
According to reports, Angie passed away on Friday in New Orleans after battling a rare form of cancer.
Angie Jakusz was a Waukesha, Wisconsin native, who eventually settled in New Orleans where she was an artist and a bartender in the French Quarter.
She made history on “Survivor” as the first contestant to lose a revote in tribal council.
Angie is survived by her husband, Steven Calandra, her parents, her brother, niece, and nephew.
My sincerest prayers and condolences to the family.
