Apple TV+ is doubling down on its beloved British spy drama “Slow Horses,” officially renewing the Emmy-winning series for a seventh season.
The streaming platform confirmed the new six-episode installment will continue the darkly funny, twist-filled saga of MI5 misfits with Sir Gary Oldman once again leading the charge as the irascible Jackson Lamb.
And in case you’ve fallen behind, the complete first four seasons of “Slow Horses” are now streaming, while Season 5 is set to premiere on September 24, 2025.
Season 6 was previously announced and is currently in the works.
🎭 Gary Oldman’s Iconic Role Returns
Sir Gary Oldman, who’s earned Golden Globe, BAFTA, and Emmy nominations for his performance, is locked in to reprise his fan-favorite role as Lamb—an endlessly quotable, chain-smoking legend of British intelligence whose insults hit harder than a sniper round.
Apple TV+ Europe’s creative director Jay Hunt shared:
“’Slow Horses’ has won fans all over the world with its unique mix of self-deprecating British humor and high-octane action. I’m delighted viewers will have another season to enjoy Gary’s magnificent performance as Jackson Lamb alongside the Slow Horses’ slightly inept spycraft.”
