Safaree is seeking joint legal custody of his infant daughter Safire and his second baby due next month, after finding out his wife Erica Mena has filed for primary custody.

According to new legal documents, Safaree has made it clear that he wants to be in his kids lives. He feels it is in the best interest of the children that they have both parents in their lives.
Erica Mena has requested to have exclusive use of the home they share, and Safaree doesn’t have a problem with that as long as he is removed from any liability involving refinancing the mortgage.

Safaree’s list of request from the pending divorce include:
- He would like exclusive possession of their individual vehicles.
- He would like to maintain all personal property acquired individually.
- He would like the court to deny any alimony payments.
- He would like the court to determine any child support obligations.
I don’t believe Safaree is going to get everything on his wishlist, but I don’t blame the brother for trying.
Erica filed for divorce in May, approximately five months short of their two-year anniversary. The couple wed on October 7, 2019.
Hopefully, things can be settled amicably between Erica and Safaree, and they are able to provide a healthy and productive co-parenting regiment for their children.
