The home surveillance footage of Richard Sherman trying to enter his father-in-laws’ home prior to his arrest has been released, and it is chaotic.
The footage shows Richard Sherman walking up to his father-in-laws’ porch on Wednesday morning and ringing a bell of some sort.
Shortly after ringing the bell, he grabs the door knob and tries to force his way in.
Raymond Moss, his father-in-law, says something to Richard through the door, and that’s when all hell breaks loose.
Richard yells, “Come through!… Come through b**ch!” and then starts slamming his body into the door as if he is trying to break it down.
After the door gets the best of him, Sherman steps back and repeatedly yells, “Come through!… Come through!… Come through Ray!”
Ray attempts to say something from behind the locked door, to which Sherman replies:
I don’t give a f**k about what you’re saying!… Open the door!
That sh*t cute from behind the door… Come through!… That sh*t real cute!
Sherman then attempted to force his way into the home again, but after the door got the best of him again he turned away awkwardly, nearly twisting his ankle, and proceeded to walk away.
Raymond Moss told Redmond police that Sherman was trying to enter his home because he pepper-sprayed Sherman and picked up his gun during the incident.
Watch the video footage below:
Sherman was released from jail on his own recognizance on Thursday (July 15) by a King County judge.
District Court Judge Fa’amomoi Masaniai attached the following restrictions on Sherman’s release:
- No consumption of any drugs or alcohol.
- No contact with Raymond Moss (Father-In-Law)
