In a candid Instagram Live, the Bronx rapper took to the streets of social media to address the messy fallout of her marriage to Papoose, his new relationship with boxing champ Claressa Shields, and how she’s focusing on her happiness after everything fell apart.

Personal Peace: Remy Ma’s Happy Place
“I’m actually really happy and really content. I’m probably the most content and the most at peace that I’ve been in my life in a really, really long time,” Remy said.
She made it clear that while the public drama was happening, she’s been living her best life, finding a level of peace that’s been hard to come by in the past.
She’s done trying to make everyone else comfortable—her focus is herself now.
Marriage Struggles & Separation: The Final Straw
Remy opened up about the state of her relationship with Papoose, explaining that they hadn’t even slept in the same bed since May 2022.
“I’m not the girl that’s gonna hang onto somebody that doesn’t wanna be held onto,” she said.
The relationship was over for her emotionally, even though it took time to formally make that decision.
Remy made it clear: she’s not holding on for the sake of holding on, especially when it wasn’t working anymore.
Papoose & Claressa Shields Using Her For Promo?
Here’s where things get juicy.
Remy called out Papoose and Claressa for seemingly using her name to promote their own agenda.
She made it clear that every time someone wants attention or to sell something, they try to pull her into the mess.
“Every time I’m quiet, they make s**t up, but when I speak the truth, they can’t handle it,” she said.
Remy is apparently done being dragged into drama for someone else’s publicity.
Setting The Record Straight
Remy pushed back against the rumors about her being the “problem” in her marriage.
She shut down anyone who might think she would walk away from a man who treated her right, saying, “I ain’t never met a female who has a perfect dude that takes care of her…and you just say, you know what? I don’t care.”
She says she knows what loyalty looks like, and she gave it, even when things weren’t perfect.
Remy Ma Addresses Health Rumors
You’ve probably heard the rumors about Remy’s health, but she shut those down fast.
“I’m not sick. I’m very healthy. Actually, I’m the healthiest I’ve been in a long time,” she said.
Plus, when it comes to legal matters, she’s not out here begging for handouts in her divorce.
“I’m not asking for child support, spousal support. I don’t want no cars. I don’t want no crib. I don’t want nothing.”
Remy’s handling things on her own, and she’s made sure to make that clear.
Choose Self-Respect Over Everything
One of the most powerful moments of the livestream was when Remy spoke about refusing to settle for less.
She said, “I will take somebody who has nothing that treats me right before I take somebody who has everything and is a piece of s**t.”
Remy isn’t settling for less than she deserves, and she wants every woman to do the same.
Papoose Moved On After Finding A Replacement?
As for Papoose and his new relationship with Claressa Shields, Remy isn’t bitter or surprised.
“I was like, when he finds a replacement… When he finds someone who we think he can have doing all the s**t that I was doing, then he’ll leave.
She claims she always knew how it would play out.
The Villain? Remy Ma Doesn’t Mind
Remy acknowledged that the public might see her as the “villain” in this whole story.
But honestly, she’s cool with that.
“I would rather be the villain than the victim in any story,” she said.
Remy knows the truth, and she’s not about to let anyone paint her as the bad guy just to fit their narrative.
Remy Is Moving On
Remy made it clear: she’s done talking about it.
“I’m good. I’ve been good for a really long time,” she said.
She’s focused on her happiness now and moving forward without letting the past hold her back.
