Rare Nike Air Obamas To Hit The Sneaker Market Friday For $25k

Sotheby is selling a rare pair of Nike Hyperdunks in a size 12.5 designed for former President Barack Obama in 2009.

There are only two pairs of shoes in existence, and the other pair was gifted to former President Barack Obama.

The shoes were influenced by the Hyperdunks created for Team USA at the 2008 Olympics.

The shoes feature a Presidential Seal on the tongue, an embroidered “44” on the toe box, and the year “1776” with two bald eagles stitched into the insoles.

The price point is a cool $25,000 and the sale starts on Friday at 4:44 PM ET.

To see the shoes in more detail visit the Sotheby website at Sothebys.com.

I’m sure sneaker heads, rappers, and athletes will be racing to purchase these Air Obamas on Friday.
