Sad news coming out of Cali…Slim 400 was shot and killed on Wednesday night (December 8) in Inglewood.
Slim, whose real name is Vincent Cohran, was an up-and-coming rapper in the California Hip Hop scene.
Born in Germany to military parents, Slim moved back to Los Angeles when he was a young child and was raised on Compton.
The shooting occurred at 7:50 p.m. in the area of Manchester Boulevard and 7th Avenue.
Officers on patrol heard the gunshots and responded to find a man on the ground with gunshot wounds, Inglewood police Lt. Neil Cochran told reporters.
Slim was treated by paramedics at the scene and then rushed to Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, where he died.
He was 33.
No arrests have been made. The motive and the circumstances around the shooting were unclear.
In June 2019, Slim 400 was ambushed and shot 9 times.
A month later, appeared on Nick Cannon’s morning show to share his testimony.
