We are sad to report that TikTok star Randy Gonzalez, the father of the Enkyboys, lost his battle with stage 4 colon cancer on Wednesday morning (January 25).
He was 35 years old.
Randy revealed to his 15.4 million TikTok followers in April that he had colon cancer six months after his diagnosis.
He told his fans that he was given two to three years to live, but chemotherapy could potentially extend his life for five years.
In August he shared the positive news of his tumors getting smaller.
In November, Gonzalez told his followers that going through treatment had been “horrible” and he “barely started moving again.”
Cancer sucks. It sucks the life out of you and makes you feel like you have nothing to live for but in reality, you do…You have to be strong to fight cancer and beat it.
I want to be a testimony of this in another year or so when I’m still alive.
In December he told his followers that he was doing good, but his current chemotherapy plan was “not working.”
He said he was happy to be back in Texas with his family, and he admitted that he wasn’t posting content because he was feeling “sick all the time.”
His fans raised $212k through GoFundMe for treatment at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston after learning that his insurance was denied.
Gonzalez was super proud of his son Brice, who makes up the other half of the Enkyboys, for landing a role on NBC’s “Lopez Vs. Lopez” playing the role of Chance.
The show premiered on November 4.
Randy and Brice garnered millions of followers on social media from their hilarious lip-syncing videos.
