The 2023 BET Awards went down on Sunday night and one of the biggest moments of the night was when Migos rappers Quavo and Offset reunited on stage to pay tribute to Takeoff.
Prior to Takeoff’s tragic death in November 2022, Offset’s relationship became strained from the group and he began to focus his energy on a solo project.
Quavo and Takeoff moved forward as Unc & Phew.
Things only worsened after Takeoff’s passing and at one point, Quavo declared the Migos “can’t come back.“
Quavo and Offset set their differences aside and came together in Atlanta to celebrate what would have been Takeoff’s 29th birthday.
Rumors quickly bubbled to the surface that they would reunite on stage to pay tribute to Takeoff at the 2023 BET Awards and lo and behold…the rumors were right!
Offset took to his Instagram account writing, “Do this s**t for the fam cuz this s**t bigger than me.”
In a post on his Instagram page, Quavo wrote, “For The Rocket ❤️🩹🚀 #RocketPower🚀“

Busta Rhymes, who was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2023 BET Awards shared his joy in seeing Quavo and Offset together again.
He wrote:
