Porsha Williams stopped by The Breakfast Club on Wednesday to promote Season 16 of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” (RHOA), which premieres this Sunday.
Of course, the conversation quickly shifted to her highly publicized and contentious divorce from Simon Guobadia—a topic that has been making headlines for weeks.
Simon Guobadia’s Citizenship Denied & ICE Detainment
In the latest turn of events, Simon Guobadia’s request for U.S. citizenship was denied, and he was subsequently detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

Following the news of Simon’s detainment, Porsha Williams took to Instagram to share her thoughts:
“It’s disheartening to see my estranged husband make choices that have led to this outcome.
At this moment, my priority is moving forward with my family. 🙏🏾”
Porsha Williams Denies Calling ICE On Simon Guobadia
During her interview on The Breakfast Club, Porsha firmly denied any involvement in Simon’s detainment, shutting down speculation that she called ICE on him.
However, she did acknowledge that his legal troubles don’t benefit her in any way.
“It doesn’t benefit me at all for him to be locked up. Mentally and financially, it doesn’t benefit me.”
Despite their ongoing issues, Porsha admitted that she still has love for Simon, even though she disapproves of his actions.
“At the end of the day, he’s the type of person… he’s a slithering snake. He’s going to find his way out of it. I’m sure he’ll be fine.”

Beyond her personal drama, Porsha also shared insights about the upcoming season of RHOA, including the much-anticipated return of Phaedra Parks and the surprising exit of Kenya Moore.
She also took a moment to address why she didn’t collaborate with NeNe Leakes on “The Upshaws,” clearing up any lingering rumors.
