New Footage Sheds Light On Porsha Williams Airport Incident
Newly released body camera video is giving fresh insight into the mid-flight dispute involving “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Porsha Williams.
The altercation happened aboard a Delta Air Lines flight that arrived at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport on Sunday, and the footage offers a clearer look at the chaos that unfolded once officers met the plane at the gate.
According to witnesses and Porsha herself, things took a wrong turn before the flight even left Las Vegas.
Porsha told police the trouble kicked off when a woman complained about the volume on her phone.
The passenger reportedly asked, “So you gonna make me listen to that the whole flight?”
Porsha Williams replied with, “Do you want to?” and suggested the woman could have asked a bit more politely.
That’s when, according to Porsha, the woman threw out a derogatory name, and the energy went downhill from there.
Witnesses backed up Porsha Williams’ story, telling officers she wasn’t the aggressor and that the other woman actually struck her.
Williams even showed police photos that appeared to show the woman being held back by others on the plane.
She added that the woman dropped her phone mid-argument and then falsely accused her of assault.
A flight attendant initially reprimanded Porsha Williams but later reassigned the other woman’s seat after hearing more details.
The Other Passenger Claims Porsha Williams Was The Aggressor
The woman accusing Porsha Williams of assault told a very different story.
She questioned why officers spoke to Williams first and didn’t want to discuss the situation in front of other passengers.
According to her, the confrontation happened during takeoff, not before departure, and she said Williams made her fear for her life.
She claimed she simply asked Williams to turn down her phone and that Williams waved her hands in her face and called her “crazy.”
The woman told officers that when she attempted to record the exchange, that’s when Porsha allegedly struck her.
What Investigators Haven’t Confirmed Yet
Atlanta Police did not specify when the incident happened, so the exact timeline is still unclear.
FOX 5 has not confirmed the date.
The FBI is currently reviewing the case, and as of now, no charges have been filed against anyone involved.
This is definitely one of those stories where every side of the plane aisle has a different perspective, and the bodycam footage only adds more layers to the conversation.
