🚨 A Shocking Scene Outside Pinky Cole’s Voagies

Atlanta entrepreneur and restaurateur Pinky Cole Hayes is no stranger to viral moments—but this time, it’s for all the wrong reasons.

Over the weekend, Cole was celebrating the grand opening of her brand new restaurant, Voagies, located on Ralph David Abernathy Blvd—the former home of her wildly popular Slutty Vegan.

But the celebration came to a screeching halt when her black Bentley was stolen in broad daylight, right in front of the new eatery.

🛻 How It Happened: A Bold, Brazen Theft

According to the Atlanta Police Department, Cole’s husband, Derrick Hayes, had left the Bentley running with the keys inside when he stepped out to greet friends.

Moments later, three men reportedly pulled up on scooters, jumped into the Bentley, and took off—leaving the scooters behind and heading toward I-20.

Derrick tried to give chase, but the Bentley was gone.

Pinky took to Instagram shortly after the incident, sharing her disbelief and frustration.

“They just… Y’all, I swear this car is not good luck. We have Voagies, and somebody just stole the car that we just got out the shop yesterday, in front of the restaurant, while we got people standing in line ordering food. Dirty-ass scooters on the ground and they left the scooters.”

🛠️ Is Pinky Cole’s Car Cursed?

In a series of follow-up videos, Cole detailed her rocky history with the Bentley—and it’s wild.

Before the theft, the car had just been picked up from the shop.

It had previously been hit by a mattress, suffered a cracked windshield from a rock, and had spent weeks undergoing repairs.

“I love Atlanta, but Atlanta is not a real place. This car just got out the shop. Same day, a rock hit the window. The next day—boom—stolen at the grand opening.”

🕵🏽 Instagram Sleuths To The Rescue

While the police were still investigating, it was Pinky’s social media frens who came through with key information.

“I just want to thank the good people of Instagram because y’all helped me solve the crime faster than the police.”

Thanks to DMs and community tips, Cole received a video showing her Bentley completely stripped.

The thieves ditched her belongings—passport, personal documents, and even her “card book”—scattered across the street.

Some of the items were recovered, but her laptop and a few personal effects remain missing.

🙏🏽 Faith, Frustration & A Final Message To The Thieves

Despite the loss, Cole remained grounded in faith and optimism.

“We can’t catch a break, but you know what? God is still good. This car is just bad luck, and I don’t wanna be connected to nothing like that.”

In her message to the culprits, she offered grace and a chance to make it right:

“If you stole my car, you can’t go really far with it because the whole Atlanta is talking about this right now. It’s in your best interest to drop the car off somewhere and just send me an anonymous DM. We can leave it at that.”

🙏🏾 A Message From Above

This incident has stirred up conversations about crime, safety, and the realities of owning luxury vehicles in Atlanta.

While Pinky Cole processes the loss, she’s also leaning into gratitude—for community support, recovered belongings, and what she sees as divine protection from something far worse.

“God is trying to tell me something. And I’m listening.”

This story hit home for me because I, too, had my car stolen in Atlanta after making the poor decision to leave it running while carrying my children into the babysitter’s house.
