A First Look At “Little Disasters”
Paramount+ has officially dropped the teaser trailer and key art for “Little Disasters,” and Frens, this one looks like it’s going to keep us on edge!
The six-part psychological thriller, adapted from Sarah Vaughan’s bestselling novel, will premiere Thursday, December 11, 2025, exclusively on Paramount+ in the U.S., Canada, GSA, Italy, and Latin America.
From the BAFTA®-winning team behind “Coma” and “Big Boys,” “Little Disasters” originally premiered earlier this year in the U.K. and Ireland, where it quickly became a binge favorite.
The Story Behind “Little Disasters”
At its core, “Little Disasters” explores the complexities of motherhood and the cracks that form when perfection is only skin-deep.
The story follows four women—Jess (Diane Kruger), Liz (Jo Joyner), Charlotte (Shelley Conn), and Mel (Emily Taaffe)—who bonded a decade ago during pregnancy.
They’ve supported each other through every late-night feeding and milestone moment, but when Jess shows up at the hospital with her baby’s unexplained head injury, her best friend Liz, who’s also the on-call ER doctor, faces an impossible choice.
One call to social services triggers a devastating ripple effect that threatens not only their families but their entire friendship circle.
The Cast Bringing The Drama To Life
Leading the cast is Diane Kruger, who nails the tension and vulnerability of a mother under scrutiny.
She’s joined by Jo Joyner, Shelley Conn, Emily Taaffe, JJ Feild, Ben Bailey Smith, Patrick Baladi, and Stephen Campbell Moore.
The series is directed by BAFTA nominee Eva Sigurðardóttir (“Good Night,” “Rainbow Party”) and written by Ruth Fowler and Amanda Duke, with Sarah Vaughan herself executive producing alongside Ash Atalla, Alex Smith, and Marianna Abbotts for Roughcut Television.
