👩🏽⚖️ Judge Says Megan Thee Stallion Lawsuit Has Legs To Stand On
Megan Thee Stallion and Roc Nation just took a legal L that has Nicki Minaj dancing in Instagram captions.
A federal judge has ruled that the explosive lawsuit filed by Megan’s former cameraman, Emelio Garcia, can move forward.
Garcia alleges he was sexually harassed, retaliated against, and ultimately fired after witnessing an inappropriate sexual encounter involving Megan in 2022.

Judge Gregory H. Woods determined Garcia had “plausibly pleaded” both discrimination and retaliation claims.
According to the lawsuit, the 2022 Ibiza incident in which Megan allegedly engaged in a sexual act with another woman in front of Garcia contributed to a hostile work environment based on Garcia’s sexual orientation.
The ruling reads in part:
“Pete would not have engaged in group sex with other women in front of a heterosexual male; that Pete felt comfortable engaging in group sex with other women in front of plaintiff because of plaintiff’s sexuality and gender.”
Garcia also claims that after expressing concern over the incident, Megan and her team cut his hours and pay, eventually firing him and “blackballing” him from other opportunities in the industry.
Judge Woods acknowledged this could constitute retaliation, writing that Garcia’s allegations “raise a reasonable inference” that his employment conditions were negatively impacted after he spoke up.
🗣 Megan & Roc Nation Call Cap
Naturally, Megan Thee Stallion and her camp are not taking the ruling lightly.
Her team slammed Garcia as a “con artist” and called the lawsuit “entirely of falsehoods, misrepresentations of fact, and outlandish claims that have no basis in fact or law and no merit.”
Unless a settlement is reached, this case is headed to trial.
💅🏾 Nicki Minaj Pops Her Pink Collar On Instagram
As soon as the ruling hit the blogs, Nicki Minaj wasted no time offering her unsolicited but very much expected two cents.
In a now-viral Instagram post, Nicki shared screenshots of headlines and a tweet from DJ Akademiks, paired with a sarcastic caption:
“What was the name of that law again???????? Karma’s Law? Touch not my anointed law? Vengeance is the Lord’s law? We give God the glory & he’s only just begun. Have a blessed day if you can. lol the blogs posting lies, thank you. More money for me. We’re working. Trust.”
Oh, and she turned the comments off. Of course.

Minaj’s post is widely seen as a response to Megan’s fiery “HISS” diss track where the Houston rapper threw a lyrical jab about Megan’s Law, a direct reference to Nicki’s husband, Kenneth Petty, a registered sex offender.

🤔 Who Hates Roc Nation More?
Nicki Minaj’s disdain for Roc Nation is loud and clear, but she may have competition.
