Nick Cannon recently stopped by the LA Leakers’ “LIFTOFF ” show and spit some bars that may make you respect him as a rapper.
Everyone knows that Nick is multitalented, but when it comes to his music, not many people take him seriously.
But, the bars he was spitting and his cadence on the “LIFTOFF” show on Power 106 FM were different from the typical Nick Cannon freestyles we’ve become accustomed to.
Even the host of the show, Justin Incredible, and DJ Sourmilk agreed that Nick’s flow was different, and they gave him props.
Nick starts out rapping about stereotypical subject matters, but near the end of his first freestyle, he gets very personal.
For his encore freestyle, he raps over the legendary UGK beat “Int’l Player’s Anthem” about taking care of all of his kids and his relationships with his baby mamas.
I gotta say something to all of my kids Your daddy gone love you whatever it is
Nick goes on to rap about not marrying the mothers of his children.
Girl you deserve every Birkin you have Birthing my babies and I can't imagine Having to go through emotions and madness Daddy all mad at me, Mama the saddest Wanted more for you than being the baddest Baby Mama in all of the land She was hoping you'd marry a man Who'd carry you there and canary your hand But, what is a ring, but really a band I got you for life and I'll always be there All of my children will always be friends E
Nick Cannon claims that his raps were freestyles, and he made them up while in the elevator, coming up to the show.
But you can tell he put a lot of thought into them.
